People Can Take Photographs, Videos, and Audio Recordings of Police in California
Legal News Update:
California Senate Bill 411 reaffirms the right that a person may take a photograph or make an audio or video recording of a police officer, while the officer is in a public place or the person taking the photograph or making the recording is in a place he or she has the right to be (amendments to Penal Code Sections 69 and 148)
