In a recent American Bar Association Journal article entitled, “Lights, Camera, New Business: Video Shows Human Side of Practice”, Senior Partner, Jon Mitchell Jackson was interview about how his firm is using video to help educate injured consumers.
According to Mitch, “We’ve enjoyed putting videos together to help victims of personal injury and wrongful death understand what their legal rights are and what needs to be done to take on big insurance. Obviously we have a long ways to go before our videos will be compared to the work of Steven Spielberg but hey, that’s not our focus.”
It’s all about helping people make informed decisions. With all the 24/7 hype big insurance is feeding consumers on television and over the radio, most injury victims don’t really know what they’re up against after a serious accident.
Mitch adds, “The fact of the matter is that I can’t tell you how many times someone has called to thank us for the information they watched in one of our videos. For the average injured consumer who needs help and is searching the internet at 2 in the morning for a good lawyer, the last thing on his or her mind is video quality or sound. It’s all about the content. Bottom line, we’re glad that our videos help.”
